Meet My Binder

Keeping your coupons organized is a MUST when trying to SAVE money!   When I first started couponing a few months ago I had this little purple envelope style coupon organizer that I thought was AWESOME!  Boy was I wrong!  After doing some online research on how others were organizing (so many different ways you can organize your coupons) I decided to go with the binder method by category.  I LOVE it!  Nothing makes me happier (ok well somethings) than flipping through my book, seeing every single coupon.

 I got this great PINK binder at Target for $19.99.  I LOVE how it has a strap for over my shoulder and a handle for easy pick up.  Perfect for when I have the boyzzz with me, after I grab the carseat I just throw my binder over my shoulder and I still have 2 hands for the 2 other boyzz. 

When you unzip the binder it has 2 sides with rings.  There is so much room inside this binder!  I printed the categorizes from the Krazy Coupon Lady's website and inserted them into plastic sheet protectors.  I have not added my tabs yet but will very soon, I think it will be much easier finding the category.  Behind every category page I have baseball card protector sheets.  These are great to slide in your coupons, each item has it's own pocket.  So easy to find a coupon you are looking for, and quickly!  No more standing at the grocery store thumbing through a huge stack of coupons.

Shopping List Book

I have been searching for a notebook to keep near my computer so I can write down the weekly deals at my local stores.  I am so picky and knew just what I wanted but couldn't find it.

I wanted a book with multiple tabs for each store I shop at.

I wanted a see through pocket for each store to keep my coupons for the weekly sale.

I wanted it to be pretty!

So instead of continuing my search I decided to make my own...

So awesome!  My shopping trip tonight went wonderfully!  This book keeps everything organized ...no more coupons in my jacket pocket!  Remember to always take your binder in the store as well!

Good Deals in Keene

There are only a few days left to be apart of this weeks deals!  I had some extra time today between work so I headed over to TARGET

I LOVE shopping at Target!  I ALWAYS bring in my coupon binder because you never know when you are going to find a great deal!

I went into Target in search of Kandoo Flushable Wipes 

Had a great coupon for $1.00 off any Kandoo product.  I found the smallest size which was 42 wipes for $1.48.  I paid just $.48!  Before I started using coupons I would always look to buy the biggest package to "save" money...NOW using coupons I look for the smallest package allowed so I can get it as close to free as possible.  It is amazing how much money I now actually do save.  Yes, I do have about 10 trial size Tide pouches in a basket next to my washer (which just broke :o(  I wonder if I can find a coupon for a new washer?) BUT I got all 10 of them for FREE!!!!

While searching though the end caps where Target usually keeps their clearance items I found a pack of Carefree Liners

These are normally $2.49 but they were on clearance for $1.24.  I had a coupon for $1.00 off making this box only $.24.  There were many of these boxes left on the shelf this afternoon.  The coupon I used was from the P and G 4/3

I found a Venus Embrace Razor

Regular price was $4.99, marked down to $2.48 and I had a coupon for $2.00 off.  Making this razor less then .50 cents!

Do you still have the COLOR WONDER coupon?  I used 1 of mine today on a travel size package.  Normal price $2.99 on clearance for $2.08 and I used the $1.00 off coupon making this little Easter gift only $1.08!

My last deal was a pack of socks.  these were normally $4.50, marked down to $3.50.  I had a $1.00 off coupon making 6 pairs of socks only $2.50!!!

Keene Area Crazy Coupon Swap

Hi Crazy Coupon Friends!!!

I have been asked by MANY people if we could start a monthly coupon swap club in the Keene area!  I would love to do this!!!

There are many coupons out there that I just know I will not use, but HATE to throw them away because I know there is SOMEONE out there that can use this to save money!!

Are you interested???  My first step to get this going is to see how many people would come?  I will start working on the details SOON!!!!  I do know that it would be on a Monday or Wednesday evening.

My Binder had a Sleepover and Sunday CVS Trip

Last night I left my entire coupon binder at my parents house...I was so sad!  My mom was SO nice to make the 45 minute drive this morning to bring it home :o)  I am very grateful to her because I was able to go to CVS and pick up a few things I wanted.  Thanks so much Mom!  OHHH and not only did she bring me my binder but she also brought me my extra papers that I go out to get Sunday mornings!

Did you all see the coupons in this weeks paper?  I have to say I like this P&G better then last months!  I have already used 4 of the coupons!

So what did I use them on and where you ask?

I did really well at CVS this week!  Here is what I bought.

• 4 Oral-B toothbrushes on sale for $2.99 total $11.96 used 2 B1G1 coupons and 1 $2.00 off 2 coupon saved $7.98 plus received $1.98 Rewards
• 4 Gillette body wash on sale for $3.99 total $15.96 used 2 B1G1 coupons and 2 $2.00 off coupons saved $11.98
• 2 GUM flossers on sale $2.00 total $4.00 used 2 $.75 coupons (no longer available to print) got $4.00 in Rewards OVERAGE!!!
• 2 Wisk Laundry Soap on sale B1G1 Free used 2 $2.00 off coupons
• 2 Herbal Essences Hairspray on sale 2 for $5.50 used B1G1 Free coupon paid $2.25 for both!

I also got a Boston Globe paper.  I scanned my CVS card before we started shopping and we got a $4.50 Rewards coupon from Winter Spending.

All the coupons except the GUM were all from Sunday papers!  (stay tuned tomorrow for beginner tips, do you have any questions you want me to address?)

We had a great trip to CVS today!
